HOW TO USE THIS CD
==================

AutoRun CD Menu
---------------
To use the CD, insert the CD in your CD-ROM drive. A menu screen
will appear. If AutoRun is not enabled on your computer, run StartCD.exe
in the root of the CD to display the starting menu. The menu provides you
with links to all the resources available on the CD and for accessing the
Microsoft Press product support Web site.

IMPORTANT: Elevated installation of code files
----------------------------------------------
You must have administrator privileges on your computer in order to use the
sample code files.
If you plan to use the code files on a computer on which you do not have
administrator privileges, such as a work computer, check with your IT person
about being granted administrator privileges.
The installer that installs the sample code to your computer will run as
Administrator no matter what your user privilege level is.

You must have Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) installed and
running in order to use the sample code files for Chapters 1, 2, 9, and 26.

Chapters 1, 2, 9, and 26 include examples that require IIS. This means:
1. You must have IIS installed and running on your machine.
2. To enable you to use IIS for these examples, the code files for this book
install to the C:\ directory with administrator-level installation.
